Gen X Pgh Podcast LIVE!

Created by David Rullo and hosted by Rullo and Valerie Christofel, the Gen X Pgh podcast takes a deep dive into post-industrial Pittsburgh—a time when MTV ruled the television, grunge topped the charts and Pittsburgh was transforming from an industrial powerhouse to a center of technology, education, medicine and the arts. Guests include artists, musicians, politicians, entrepreneurs and thought leaders who shaped the times.

Guests on the Gen X Pgh podcast have included former WDVE morning show host Jim Krenn, former Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto, Rusted Root original member Jenn Wertz, music critic Scott Mertz, former Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, Pittsburgh Film Office CEO Dawn Keezer and Metropol/Rosebud founder Robin Fitzgerald.

Whether you grew up in Pittsburgh during those peak Gen X years, experienced the city’s transformation firsthand, or simply want to learn more about one of the most fascinating periods in local history, this live podcast recording offers an entertaining and insightful journey through the people and moments that shaped modern Pittsburgh.

Come be part of the audience, experience the conversation live, and celebrate the stories that made Pittsburgh what it is today!
